AGEXMA – Association of wood professionals from Extremadura was set up in Cáceres, as an organ of representation, management and protection of the interests of the companies of the sector of furniture and wood in the province of Cáceres, with a high number of companies as part of it.

This association was founded with the aim of helping in the daily work of the furniture and wood companies, in September 2002 under the Law 11/1985 on regulation Trade Union Organisations right to organize. Since its constitution it has maintained a firm policy of consolidation, being given a wide recognition at a provincial level.

AGEXMA, is represented in Extremadura through FEDEXMADERA, Extremadura wood and furniture cluster, and nationally and internationally for CONFEMADERA, the Spanish Confederation of Wood Companies.
